Delete your data

You can delete individual photos and results, or your entire Honey Does This account and everything tied to it, at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Honey Does This and sign in.
- Go to the You tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm with "Yes, delete my account."
Deletion starts immediately and you are signed out. You do not need to email us or wait for approval.
Delete your account without the app
If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email support@honeydoesthis.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We will verify the request came from that address and delete the account and all associated data, usually within 7 days, and confirm by email when it's done.
Delete individual photos or results
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove something. Open a result (from Home or History) and tap Delete, or swipe the item in History. You can also remove a look from your Lookbook, revoke any share link or in-app share from the result's share sheet, and replace or remove your "Looks like me" reference photo in You → Style This → Model.
Even if you do nothing, every uploaded photo and its result deletes automatically 7 days after upload unless you've saved it to your Lookbook.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account, email address, @handle, and display name.
- Every photo you uploaded and every image generated from them.
- Your "Looks like me" reference photo, if you added one.
- All AI feedback, history, Lookbook saves, and collections.
- Share links you created and the anonymous feedback left on them.
- Your friendships, friend requests, in-app shares, thread messages, votes, and reactions.
- Your push notification tokens and settings.
- Your occasion, style, and model preferences, and your style-signal history.
Your @handle is freed for someone else to claim.
What may be kept, and for how long
Database rows are removed right away and stored files are wiped by a cleanup job within about an hour. Limited operational and security logs (which never contain your photos, AI feedback, or messages) may persist for a limited period under our providers' standard retention. Anonymous, city-level activity counts are not linked to your account and age out after 30 days. We keep anything else only where the law requires it. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
